How it all began
John Grocke and Doug Johnston were successful individuals in both the Insurance and Financial Planning Industry, each running his own flourishing business.
In 1990 they decided to join forces and become a specialised service organisation, moving into new premises at 1 Alexandra Ave, Rose Park.
They offered a combination of expanded skills through a team, which as individuals, had a specific expertise to move client personal or financial risk.
They did and still do specialise in taking on this responsibility, and turning potential exposure to financial disaster into a safe, well planned protection program, which enables clients to get on with life, free from financial uncertainty.
Separately both Doug Johnston and John Grocke have served their clients for many years. As a team which now includes Andrew Brown and Anthony Klatt, they continue do so, but with the further advantage of greater combined resources and skills.
With the realisation that it was becoming an insurmountable task for any one person to keep abreast of the constant and ever increasing changes to the Tax Laws governing Income, Superannuation, Roll-overs, Investments and Social Security Benefits, today, Johnston Grocke are a specialised one stop service offering expert advice through their Financial Services, Business Services and Mortgage Services divisions.
We believe that our clients deserve the best advice on the areas likely to affect their financial well-being.
For this reason we have put together a skilled team of people, each responsible and accountable for their own area of expertise.
Now in larger premises at Level 1, 225 Greenhill Road, Dulwich, and with a growing team, they continue to offer clients peace of mind by providing sound Business and Financial advice.
